Hi,
Inner tooling always stay included in part shape , and if you made InnerTooling Polyboard well made and export Inner Tooling
The only way to extend the outside of the part is to make a groove, for example by using the virtual panel and deselecting the exportable “option”.
and in this case PolyBoard call parameters of groove option in PP,
Minus value at “Recess of non through g…. ” reduce length of Groove
Plus value at “Throught groove O….” add extra length outer panel
Your inner tooling, outline, and groove use the same layer name but, with different tool
V_FRAES_(depth)_T456 for outline
V_FRAES_(depth)_T303 for inner
V_FRAES_(depth)_T303N for groove
cheers , Alex

Thanks Alex, does the inner tooling have to stay inside the panel, what do I do if I want the top and bottom of the groove to square and not show the radius of the tool?
I tried left face and right face thinking that was the solution before I asked here on the forum, didn’t make a difference.
It looks to me like the inner tooling is on the same setting in post processor options as the outline but I don’t know how to alter/fix this.
Optinest update worked thank you.

Hi,
If you send me your DXF export file i can check too,
But your PolyBoard hasn’t been updated for the last 2 years.
Can you update to the last version 7.12D.
Close PolyBoard, download update from this link (EDIT: link removed), then run and follow the instructions.
Always select Next, don’t change your libraries and settings.
For more information, click here: How do I update my software?
Update OptiNest to the 2.32i would be a good idea too.
Cheers, Alex
