Hi,
We haven't forgotten you,
This is a long-standing constraint known to the development team, who are looking to see if they can work around this problem,
without however being able to give a deadline
All the best, Alexandre

Hi,
I will ask the development team in a future discussion if this is a bug or a technical software constraint.
All the best, Alex

I have just found the bug!
If I remove the mortice and tenon joint type from the back of the drawer to both drawer sides, it allows me to remove the central back panel as required.
As soon as I add in the mortice and tenon joint type again it brings the middle panel back in.
Please could this be looked at and a bug fix sent out?

I don't understand why your cabinet won't let me do this.

That makes sense that it is the nil panel that is not letting the middle section of the back become a nil panel. I put in the nil panel so the 2 vertical divisions are referenced off that so when the unit is resized they still stay spaced around the centre of the drawer.
Is there a different way to place the vertical divisions so when the unit is twice the width (for example) they are still centrally placed and spaced apart without using the nil panel?
We are wanting to design this unit so it can be all custom sizes using catalogue mode.

I am in the process of designing a vanity unit and would like to include a cut out in the drawer to allow for the sink waste. I have done this with a double back, recessed from the sides of the drawer and 2 vertical divisions. I have having trouble removing the middle section of the back of the drawer, highlighted orange in the image below.

If I try to set it to a Nil Panel, the program thinks for a little bit then just reverts back to being a pine panel. Is this a bug?
If I remove it with an inner tooling it leaves a groove on both sides of the vertical divisions, see below.
We would like it so there is only a groove on the single side of the vertical divisions. How do I do this?
