It’s not so often that I use the halved joint but i’ll bear this in mind for the next one.

Hi,

 

The slack is not separable,

 

But you still have the option of setting the groove tolerance to 0 but declaring a thicker back panel.

Hello! 

Is the halving joint tolerance tied into the grooving + oversizing options? 

I make use of .5mm oversizing for my back panel grooves as they get screwed afterwards, but i’d like the tolerance to be 0 for the halving joints. 

Is this possible?
