OfflineHi Brendan,
Sorry, Isaac is away and coming back tomorrow.
This is a classic profiling cut, so the radius of the corners will depend on the diameter of your tool.
Perhaps a support pack could be considered to help you use VCarve effectively.
Kind regards,

OfflineHello Caroline,
Yes, I would draw a square over the handle cut out in VCarve and then add a perimeter tooling with the 4mm cutter.
Of course this will still be rounded, but only a 4mm round instead of the 12mm round.
Best regards, Isaac

OfflineHi Isaac
As you can see from the attached picture of drawer front that was cut on cnc the internal handle detail cut out was cut with the 12mm nesting bit but as you can see the corners are not square we want to achieve a square corner, we have a 4mm end mill and we think this would be sufficient to finish the corners to get them square
Can you advise on the process to do this? or do you have an alternative suggestion?
Thanks Caroline

OfflineHello Caroline,
You can cut this in VCarve as it is now, and it wont give you any problems. If you profile on the outside of your profiling line, it will cut the component and the handle cut out together.
Note, this will add the tool radius to any inside corners, such as on the handle cut out. If you want this squared, you will need to manually corner notch this post machining.
