Hi Sean,

Just got your model and email:

**********

Morning Ness

Here is that Wall Unit. Dimensions are –
850 High
From the Top / Bottom of the end, the first hinge hole should be 86.5mm, second hinge hole 118.5mm, making the centre of these two holes 102.5mm. The centre hinge should be the centre of the end minus 16mm then plus 32mm, making the centre of these two holes 425mm. So we drill our doors at 100mm. We have a gap all round the door of 2.5mm.
Sorry if that’s not worded very good, any problems or you don’t understand the above, just email me back.
Cheers
Sean

I’ve looked at the cab and your problem is that the hardware and rules are not set up to position the hinge holes correctly.

Hinge holes are set at x= 32mm from axis whereas you should use 16mm either side of axis.
For the Hinge rule you must have the position reference set to the overpassing panel (the door) and as you have 2.5mm set back take 2.5mm from 102.5mm = 100mm
I attach the images explaining the setting and the modified model.
Hope this is helpful
All the best,
Ness

If I’m turning a 720 High Wall unit into a 900 High Wall unit, the unit will create a extra set of hinge holes on the unit side, great you think, but ‘NO’. I need the hinges to be centre, mine are slightly out (about 16mm)  How do I move the hinge holes to the correct position ?
