Holes on wrong face after PP|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER
January 20, 2017
Hi Sandy,
Yes exactly,
Set standby = 1 is standby without unlock (just restart with cycle start)
Set Standby = 2 is standby with possibility to move piece
by default like sides, back of the side is in direction of machine origin for one face milling
when you have 2 faces milling like on a vertical division the first face, back is in direction of machine origin , and for second milling face after flipping piece it is the front of the part in the direction of machine origin
hope my explanation was clear…
don’t worry, overview of maestro is wrong I don’t understand piece flipping
to be sure can you post cabinet AND the XXL file of one piece with flipping
All the best, Alexandre
Hi there.
Have run in to issue, not sure where would be a problem.
When creating xxl files using Xilog PP, all ok – as there is line with code: SET STANDBY=2, what means flipping piece.
But then, when PB uses XConverter to convert files to .pgmx format – all holes/drillings, that are supposed to be on bottom side, are put on top side. Side/edge holes are ok.
Even if iported xxl file straight to Maestro, all holes(top/bottom) are placed on top side.
I`m guessing that instead of flip option in XXL file, instead might need to be specified Face on which holes are supposed to be.
Please let me know as soon as possible, as need to run job, and before this is resolved can`t do much.
Regards
Sandis
