Hi Ben,

I am sorry, but I don’t understand your request. Could you please provide a diagram of what you would like, and then I can show you an example.

Regards, Isaac

okay can you show me a video of using the surface split to the measurement i want say if i wanted to split my back into 3 sections 2@ 300mm and 1 @1500mm as when i go to surface split it asks how much slack i want and removes this i cant actually say type in a measurement and apply a 0.1mm slack to create a individual back piece

Hello Ben,

Rather then overpassing the shelf to the back panel, you would be best to leave it as underpassing. To then split the back for multiple cabinets, you could use the “Surface Split” feature.

Additionally, If you do not want the shelves to split through multiple uprights, you will need to add them separately as two different uprights instead of using the “thickness split” feature.

also i have just realised another problem isaac so what we are trying to do is stack boxes ontop to create the wardrobe so when i overpass the shelves left and right on the uprights it is overpassing into the next upright aswell as we split them to create 2 can this be fixed?

hi issac thanks for this. i would like to know whether we can have the cabinet so that our back screws onto the shelves and not underneath them i could add 18mm onto each back but wouldnt be the quickest way for us and could bring in human error

can i split the base to each unit and also can this be done on the backs i have split each shelve as i want to install this wardrobe in box sections with the backs split and the base to each unit if this makes sense. i know you can build this seperate units but for speediness i find this way works better for me
