Hi,

When using these methods be careful your cabinet don’t use extra sub-methods, and use cab dimension for your models

instead, some invisible line can come under conflict when export and import

All the best, Alexandre

Hi Alexandre

Thanks for that

I have created a simple handle as per Video directions but when viewing the handle on the cabinet in 3D its not picking up some of the handle faces.

I have tried several different methods with material thickness with surface split also tried full thickness material with inner tooling check out which was better but still not all faces are present in the 3D model.

see attached cabinet with the created handle, maybe I’m doing something wrong?

regards

Dave

Hi,

To be imported into Polyboard, the drawings must be in 3Dface.

When I look at the files you upload, they are region/surface types that are not compatible.

Here you can find video explain how you can do without extra software

https://wooddesigner.org/help-…..cessories/

Another solution is to use inner tooling and materials thickness

please see handles example upload

All the best, Alexandre

Hi Team

We are pre-drilling our cupboard doors for handles and as a visual check would like to add a Single Panel Fitting with 3D Accessory attached, this also would be good as a presentation to the client.

As we use a range of handle sizes and don’t have this in our Accessories I downloaded Hettich Narona handle range as a 3D DXF file but unfortunately when importing into PolyBoard these files are not recognised.

I tried several versions of Hettich online downloads but still to no avail even tried saving through Sketchup as 3D DXF.

We don’t have an other Auto-Cad software to try saving as a different format.

Could someone have a look at these files and see if able to save into 3D accessories or supply another handle type range we could use.

regards

Dave
