importing dxf walls|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Hi Gavin,
If you need shaped wall and openings you can make them simply as a cabinet panel.
Either make panels the shape of the walls and clip them together or a cabinet the size of the room.
I make them in materials I call Z- materials that can be ignored in the cutting lists.
You have to beware that other cabs will only clip to the outer limits of the wall/cabs and set them up with snappable corners.
cheers,
Ness
been trying on a work around to import walls from cad using a base panel the overall exterior sizes then copying in the dxf file then using inner tooling to give us the wall shape the only issue is the snap to wall function does not work ,and if you try and draw in the walls like in Ness´video it only gives you outside dimensions and you don´t see the cut out,
Any one with any ideas on how to get this to work would be great , or if the lovely people at boole and partners could let us import dxf to trace over that would be awesome
