Hello Keith,

Currently, this would give you two separate DXF files upon a VCarve import. You would need to join them using this method before applying the toolpaths.

Alternatively, you could try different DXF shape imports to create this all through a single inner tooling layer. To have a single file upon import, you would need to use this method.

Let me know how you get on.

Regards, Isaac

Thanks Isaac,

Gonna give it ago today and try it out.

Just wondering does that still export it as a single panel then or will it be in two pieces as you turned the inner tooling back on.

Hi Isaac,

Fair play thank you.

Here are images of what I am trying to draw in polyboard.

I generally do a 70mm style on the doors and the glazing beeds are normally 22mm wide.

I normally export as a square door and add the glazing beeds in v carve. How ever with the 3d views and the rendering now with polyboard it be handy doing it all from here.

Hello Keith,

Can you please send me an example of what you are trying to make?

I will show you how you can then make it for PolyBoard.

Regards, Isaac

Hi Guys,

I want to draw curved glazing beads in a glass door structure in polyboard.

I find when I draw a new structure its quite difficult to get it correct and been honest the dimentions seem all over the place. I try draw it and drag the lines closer to make it smaller however ends up to be massive.

What Might i be doing wrong here ?

Also can i draw it in 2d in vcarve and import the strutcure and just apply it to my doors ?

Its quite easy to get right in vcarve.

Thanks a mill.
