Hi, Can you please advise

we are trying to create fingergrips in these doors and got some questions.

1, how to make the rektangel used to create the long growe parametric to the size of the door so that it dont surpass the cirkel that formed the start in the grove in the original door?

2, How to make it so that the finger grips are meeting in the center when using this as double doors?
