Hi Peter,

Thanks for the drawing, this time I've got it.

A drawing is always worth a million words...

You can set this up several ways.

I attach 2 possible solutions.

The model 010 is maybe the simplest way, add 2 uprights at 0 from each side and a shelf at 0 from the top and set them back 700 from the facade:

However the uprights and top can't be assembled with a mitre.

You can assemble with miter if you use the second method.

Select a side and Goto "Structure>Thickness Split" and create a panel made with 2 panels:

Then select the inner panel and goto "Structure>surface split" set the split orientation angle to 90° and split the panel into 2 :

Use the "Individualise Divisions Parameters" to set the cut in the right place.

Then select the bigger sub panel and make it "nil":

then copy the structure onto the other panels:

The upper panel structure will be in the wrong direction.

To change this select the panel and open the sub-panel 2 structure,

Change the orientation of the split to 0°.

This should give:

Hope this is helpful.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Peter,

Sorry but I still don't understand your project.

Can you post a hand sketch of the finished project?

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness

I have attached a quick sketch.

1) The face of the 3600 x 1000 top and ends on the cabinet side to be 40mm

The face and ends on the other side ( where the dimensions are ) to be 80mm, these will return under 300mm to form a box that will meet up with the cabinets to form a 300mm sitting area.

Not sure how to form this up for presentation purposes.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Hi Ness

Drawing up a new project, and want to design a Galley island bench with waterfall ends and back panels

1) How is the best way to position this unit say 1300mm of the wall

2) Produce a bench top with water fall ends, with 40mm faces on the inside and 80mm faces on the out side edges

3) Want to have a base 120mm high front and back

Cheers
