Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delay,
But it is not yet possible to apply fitting automatically on the fitting side with sub-methods
All the best, Alexandre

Hi Michel,
Many thanks for the video. What I am actually trying to achieve is to apply this fitting link into the fitting sub methods so that when I apply a door named lift, the fittings for that door are applied (in the same way as hinges are applied when I choose an overlay or inset door). I have both the fitting link and the rule from the cabinet that you sent but I cannot seem to find a way to apply this in the fittings sub method.
I have attached an image of the fittings sub method showing the method I am trying to create.
Kind regards
Tom

Hi Michel,
Many thanks for this, its exactly what I’m looking for. I can’t however seem to find the fittings rule in the fitting sub method that comes with the model. Has this fitting link been added separately? I would really like to add the fitting and rule to the sub method so its applied automatically when a top opening door is selected?
Kind regards
Tom

Hi Tom,
We have a Blum HK top cabinet in the tech models available. I attached it here. Is this what you are looking for? If not add your cabinet in the post so that I can have a look at it.
regards
Michel

Hello,
I am trying to apply a Blum Aventos HK top lift set to my cabinet/ door. The fitting is detailed already but I am struggling to apply it in the fitting sub method. As the door is top opening, the fitting side I select is top. However this does not work in the fitting sub method as it applies the fittings to the top face and not each side. Only when I select side as the fitting side is the fitting located on the side. This however is not how the door hinges/ operates.
I realise that for a normal door, hinges/ fittings are applied to the fitting side. With top opening (Blum Aventos) whilst the door hinges/ opens along the top, the hardware is located along each door side.
I feel I must be missing something very simple. Any ideas?
Kind regards
Tom
