Hi Ness,

What I mean by gables I mean all the uprights will be able to have the 8m hole for dowel done on cnc , when its on the flat…. The pieces that are going horizontal can be done on the multi drill….. The drilling machine has the drills 32mm apart so I would need the cnc to drill maybe 2 holes 32mm apart on the upright so the shelves can slide into them perfectly……

The material has now changed to 45mm mdf…

Yes Alexandre , this is exactly what I mean pretty much……!!

Thanks,

Ian

Hi Ness,

I have to make roughly 6 book shelves like these …. Need to be put together with 8mm dowels…. I have recently purchased a drilling group machine so I will be able to do the ends of pieces with this and need inc to do gables…

Thanks,

Ian

Hi… Can you tell me how do I draw up bookshelves using 38mm mdf … The shelves will be all staggered in different sections and will be doweled as no screws can be shown…I know it might be similar to the the way I’m using poly board for carcasses but I’m use to it now I can’t remember how to change or what to do….. thanks….
