Hi Vman,
To set up a rabbet you have to set the link “Type” to a groove .
Have a look at this video:

To use dowels or / and biscuits you have to set up a “fitting link”. this is considered adding hardware to the “link”.
You can change the “type” of link and add dowels biscuits or cams etc using the “fittings”.

Hi, sorry a couple of basic newbie questions.
1. How to I set the joint type? I.e. in some places I want to use rabbet joints in others I want to use dowels or biscuits. I’m sure there’s a video on this but I can’t find it!
2. When I add a plinth I can only add front and back but I actually need front and right-side. The left and right options are both disabled. Why is that?
