Hi,

Can you clarify your requirements with a sketch?

But if your cabinet will be set within a wall, I don’t think extra fitting are needed,

gluing on a mitre cut should be sufficient

Cheers, Alex

Thanks. That seemed to sort it out for me. I’m attaching my Polyboard files here.

Should the mitred cabinet corners have additional fixings?

I want to add a 20mm architrave around all four sides of the cabinet front, with mitred corners. (The cabinet will be set within a wall.) Can I do that in my Polyboard file?

I have access to a CNC machine in a workshop, but I don’t know its capabilities. What do I need to ask in order to work out which of the Polyboard fixing methods it’s most suited to cut?

Thanks

Stuart

Hi,

For a better analysis, please attach your project / Cabinet,

If I well understand you want to delete default fittings on your cabinet assembled by Groove / Tenon & Mortise, applied by the default fitting Links sub-methods,

If you have our QuickDesign libraries

Go to the menu Libraries > Sub-Methods > Fitting Links then select  “–no hardware” , then click ok with option “Apply the Method to whole cab.”

Best regards, Alex

Hi

First project using Polyboard. I want to build a simple cabinet with grooved joints. I’ve drawn it up, but in exploded view I see lots of connector holes. How can I remove all fixings across the whole cabinet, please?

Thanks

Stuart
