Hi Lukas,

when you surface split a panel you get both parts showing up separately in the properties menu.

Opening the material section of the panel enables you to set it to "nul":

Hi Lukas,

It's not possible to have only one sliding door the minimum is 2.

However you can set up a double back panel and make it look like a sliding panel.

The double back can be linked to the top and bottom either with hardware or in grooves and all the manufacturing documents will be correct.

I attach an example that shows one way of doing this.

I've given the impression the door is in an open position by extending it on the left, using an extended groove assembly with the side, and reducing it on the right by surface splitting it and making the right panel nul.

This enables the door to look open and still create through grooves on the top and bottom.

If you just want the door closed simply making the pane grooved into the top and bottom is enough.

Other setups are of course possible.

All the best,

Ness
