Hi,

I think that indeed to force the separation, it would be necessary to declare a false thickness, to generate 2 entities, and to re-modify afterwards the depth manually.

We are trying to make a relatively simple cutout, but as soon as the contour for the inner tooling hits the contour for the side profiling the two joins together. the tool we are using for profiling is not able to do the inner tooling due to its size, which means the cutout wont be made.

As indicated it would be easier to go through an internal tooling process to apply a particular tool

The Edge tooling must cover the whole length of the edge, to be easily placed

Hi,

Can you show me an example of your open curve?

But specify tool are only available for Inner Tooling in this case,

The tool ID must be configured separately in the post-processor option.

How do I apply open curves to a component and is it possible to specify a specefic tool for the operation. Seperate to the profiling.
