HI Dean,

Yes, this is a very powerful feature of Polyboard,  you can tweak the Maufacturing Sub-method and then apply it to any new cabinet.

However, be carefull to tweak the sub method and not just the individual panels. Modifying separate parts will not be included in the methods.

cheers,

Ness

Thanks Ness

am i right thinking i can tweek all of these bits then duplicate the manufacturing method so when working on a different cabinet i can apply them all using this method and the groove and overlaps, fixings ect will be applied ??

Hi Dean,

Polyboard defaults to built in drawers when behind doors.

To get the drawer fronts to overlap the uprights you must set the uprights back from the door the space between the door and drawer front plus the thickness of the drawer front.

Then select the drawers and define the link to the upright as "groove" and give the groove depth the overlap required.

The double back "filler" can be set at any position afterwards.

I attach your model that I tweaked as well as a simplified on to illustrate the method.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness,

Just wondering how i can make the draw fronts overpass the vertical divisions on these internal draws please.

also if there is anything i may have missed or advise let me know please 🙂

I have a few other questions to come on other projects too as have lots of polyboard work on the go 🙂

Many Thanks
