Hi Isaac,

Thanks for the reply. I think see what you are indicating to be done. Make the structure that much bigger than needed so that when the adjustment(s) is done in the properties screen, the measurement when subtracted will amount to the desired length. I now understand from your statement “An overlap will be deducted off of the overall size of your cabinet, not added to it” what the program will do. I’ll give it a try later today.

Regards

Brian

Hi Brian,

To overpass your top piece you need to:

1. select you cabinet top

2. Select the Right side/ Left side/ and Back links on the properties screen

From here, choose how much overlap you would like. (see attachment)

Remember, PolyBoard works in overall dimensions. An overlap will be deducted off of the overall size of your cabinet, not added to it.

Isaac

Please excuse me as I’m a total novice at PolyBoard, and am trying to grasp the true power of this software. I would like to utilize PolyBoard to design a mobile cart for a customer, and feel that this is the ideal software to achieve my objective. The this is that in all the predesigned cupboards or cabinets available, none have what I’m looking to achieve. The top panel of my design is to extend over the bottom structure by about three inches. Is there a way in which to achieve this goal in the software?

I have attached a png indicating the sides which I would like to extend, and just need a little direction (if possible) on how to achieve my desire. Looking forward to your reply.

Regards

Brian

P.S. It seems that my png is a little too large to upload. If you can pick my meaning of what I’m looking to do from my message, please indicate your solution.Screen-Shot-For-Sharing.pngImage Enlarger
