OfflineTarjei,
If I understand you correctly, then yes this can be done.
If you are already using a macro in a PolyBoard fitting and it is working, you can add additional elements to the fitting. You can add additional grooves, drills, etc. within PolyBoard. See the following image:
Please test all of this and confirm it is correctly working before machining.

OfflineWe are using the normal Peanut macro/fitting with success on our machine through polyboard + pp. We are looking to edit it in a way that the pathing of the tool enters in 90 degrees perpendicular to the fitting, to allow the peanut to be inserted from the edge of the panel, as in the video.
I understand editing the macro is not doable in Polyboard. Maybe it is possible to add a second tooling to the fitting, in order to make a fix without editing the macro? As in step 1: machine regular peanut keyhole (slot o3/o3h), step 2: machine away waste from the big hole to the edge of the board, perpendicular to the keyhole orientation.

Tarjei

OfflineHello Tarjei,
Thank you for that information. Have you first trailed these on your machine and with your machine software?
We need to know that compatibility is working on your machine first before we can link it with PolyBoard.

OfflineOk thank you Isaac, I will ask around on the woodwop forums as well.
Would it help though if we provided the current macro for our peanut fitting? They are listed for download here under HOMAG https://www.intelligentfixings…..d-software Sorry for not including this earlier.
We use the .mpr-files slot_o3 for machining the keyhole slot in y-axis and slot_o3h for x-axis. Attached is a screenshot of our Fittings window with set variables.

OfflineThank you Tarjei,
I don’t currently have a copy of this macro for your machine.
My recommendation is to reach out to Homag and discuss a macro with them. If they can provide you a macro, we can test compatibility with PolyBoard.
My apologies, but that is all we are capable of doing at this time.

OfflineHello Tarjei,
Can you please inform me on what CNC machine you have, and what CAM software/PolyBoard PP you are using.
Regards, Isaac
