Hi,

-we lost all our method that we had in the old version

When you install the libraries, it creates a Polyboard-V7.4-En folder on the desktop.

and during the installation process, the installer only changes the folder path in Polyboard, and creates a backup of your settings.

Close Polyboard

Go to the Backup into Polyboard-V7.4-En folder on the desktop and run the file date_userbackup.reg to restore the previous settings.

– I do not know to get backup and restore it in our software

Like announced into previous post Backup should create before install

-I saw peanut cabinet it looks ok I think but we do not have peanut option in our fitting  method.

I have given this cabinet with the link fitting that you can restore and test if the test work we can help to create sub-method fittings,
can you provide me the cabinet with your sub-method fittings link to replace the link with Peanut 2

All the best, Alex

Hi,

Since your last training here, the libraries and the software have received many improvements and corrections.

Updating the software is recommended

The libraries according to your work you do on it since

For example:

The materials have been cleaned,

The drawers in 7.2 were in length from 400 to 550 and now 270 to 650 mm (if available)

New hardware is available

(all information here)

don’t forget to make backup , brefore all!

if you install libraries you may restore your PostPro from backup

And for peanut 2 please find exemple attached, to be tested

PEANUT®-2.pngImage Enlarger

Cabinet, with fitting required 7.08C PolyBoard version you can restore into your librarie

PEANUT®-2-a.pngImage Enlarger

I choose to make closed curved shape with 2 line separte of 0.01mm to make tool in/out on 0 point.

All the best, Alexandre

Hi Alex,

thank you for your response

1- can I update polyboard & library or only library?

2- For peanut connection I do not know what I have to do at all. We have polyboard software and we use Holzher software for nesting

we get part out of polyboard.

*Edit* We use hops file

I hope my answer is good enough.

regards,

Hi,

2*

PolyBoard Update  information here

This just gives you improvements to your software, and don’t touch your libraries

Quick Design update  information here

But the new installation will overwrite all the files if this folder already exists.

It actually changes the folder location settings in PolyBoard, but you can switch from the old to the new to export the items you are interested in to your libraries

(PolyBoard link QuicDesign libraries)

Or better make a clean install, then restore the methods used in the previously created cabinets

1* For Peanut connection, can you let me now which Post Pro did you used for?

All the best, Alex

Hi All,

this is the first time I’m writing a request here I hope I am doing it right.

I have two questions

1- i am looking to setup in polyboard peanut connection as a method of assembling
i really appreciate for your help.

2- how I can upload new library and new version of software without damaging my library from the old version

regards,
