Hello Ilie,

This is not currently possible to export this information within a PolyBoard MPR file.

The only current options are within the labelling, or post processor report file.

Sorry that I couldn’t be more helpful here.

Regards, Isaac

I use Polyboard with WoodWOP MPR post-processor for a Hua Hua CNC machine. The machine reads edge banding information from KM comments in the <101 \Kommentar\ section in this format:

KM="000-001 : MATERIAL, 1mm " KM="001-002 : MATERIAL, 1mm " KM="002-003 : MATERIAL, 1mm " KM="003-000 : MATERIAL, 1mm "

Can you add this to the WoodWOP MPR post-processor so it exports automatically based on the edge banding set on each panel

Hello Ilie,

Your only option is to either allow for, or remove the thickness of the edging in the finished sizes of the pieces. To allow for this, set either:

  • Net dimensions – For finished sizes without edge tape
  • Overall dimensions – For finished sizes to contain edge tape thickness (good if you use pre-milling on an edgebander)

Apart from this, there are only two other options for referencing edge tape on your components:

  1.  Add edging detail on part labels 2026-06-17_11-00-59.PNGImage Enlarger
  2.  Add edging details to a CSV/TXT in your PP report (good for labelling references in your CAM software) 2026-06-17_11-01-36.PNGImage Enlarger

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards, Isaac

Hello, is there a possibility in the files exported with the postprocessor to show me the edges of the piece, for example if I have 2 edged sides along the length to see them in the exported file, I use mpr
