Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I needed to see how fusion 360 works to understand.

When you import by batch, you have to go to the debit options to generate only 1 DXF per file, so you don’t have to manage the quantities

otherwise, OptiNest can handle this automatically

You should certainly also ungroup the models from the cutting list.

Cheers, Alex

Hello.

I figured it out. I switched to fusion and use their nesting utility. I had to download the dxf importer utility. Now you batch import the dxf files and nest from there.

What I need help with now is getting the file name to indicated the necessary quantity of parts.

Hello.

Can you please tell me what you mean by join working dxf files. Do you want me to send you the output of polyboard or dxf output of some other program?

Hello.

At the moment its inventor nesting utility which is the same to fusion nesting utility. I usually use 3d files. What it primarily needs is closed contours. It has problems with the cabineo hardware for some reason https://imgur.com/a/6D7NPbf The screenshot was too big to upload

Hi,

Would it be possible to attach a working file from your CAD software so that I can tell you how to configure the layers in the PostProcessor option.

Please tell me what is your CAD software

Hello.

Can you please tell me how to configure cabineo hardware so that it reads correctly in my nesting software. Alternatively how does one modify the look of the exported dxf file
