Hi Stu,
Can you provide us with the following files?
1 The PolyBoard setting file ( go to menu tools and save parameters). This generates a file that we need
2 your postprocessor ( go to the postprocessor option and select your postprocessor). Click below on export and send us the generated file
3 make a sample cabinet and output the file so that it generates the pp report. Send us the cabinet and the pp report file. Also, provide a screenshot from Bnest on the error
regards
Michel

Hi Stu,
Can we have a short zoom meeting on this so that I can see the issue on your PC? Tell me what timeframe you can be available and I will send you an invitation via email
regards
Michel

Hi Michel
We have checked the PP option and it is already set for excluding special characters so this doesn't fix our issue.
With Cut List Option not sure what parameters might affect this issue.
It seems to me the once adding multiple similar panels the name is created in the cabinet Edit level which I would presume be altered in 'Tools-Preference' level so wondering if this is something that could be done in the 'Part References' ?
if it helps I have attached a cabinet from our library
regards
Dave

Hi Stu,
also in the cutting list menu " cutting list options" you can use the parameter grouped cutting list in order to avoid this multitude of separated similar parts.

Michel

We are just about all setup but an issue we have to run jobs through with CIX files we cant have any spaces in material names or part names in the cabinets.
I have changed all Material names to suit and gone into Tools-Preferences-Cutomize Panel Type and underscored any gaps in Panel Type descriptions but unfortunately when we get multiples of the same panel type e.g. Mobile Shelves we get a space then bracketed numbers.
example:
Mobile_Shelf [1] when we need no space or filled space ie Mobile_Shelf[1] or Mobile_Shelf_[1]
is there any way of customizing parts to enable filled spaces or do we have to manually do this each time?
regards
Dave

Hi,
Did you use the latest version 7.08C?
If not, update and then export again, if your problem is not solved, can you upload your Post-Pro and your cabinet?
For PP, you need to compress it before uploading, right click and send it to...
-Can you please send through what settings need to be to make this work and what settings are required for doing two vertical passes. First pass will leave 1mm of material to remove on second pass.
> From Post-Pro you have option Residual Thickness
After setting this value, you can set the tool for the first pass (other passes) (here I have set tool 102).
And set the tool for the last pass (here tool 101).
the same tool can be used
All the best, Alex

Please see the attached screen shots and report file when trying to export a job from Polyboard using the Biesseworks CIX post.
Some of the .CIX files are coming through with the panel width and height the wrong way round.
If you have a look at screenshot "Top_1_1_f1.PNG" and the same panel in 3D view in "Top_1_1_f1_b.PNG" you will see the machining operations are rotated 90 degrees to the panel.
If they were all coming through consistently I could just invert the Width and Height values when importing into Bnest but some are coming through correctly (see screenshot "Drawer 500[2]_2_9_f1") so this I cannot manage
at the Biesse software end.
I have also included a copy of the output report file from polyboard that I am using for the import into Bnest. I have spaced it out to make it easier to read and added headers for explanation.
We are also having issues with the generated .CIX file not containing any profile routing. The only routing it has generated has been internal. The tool name is set in the post processor settings.
Can you please send through what settings need to be to make this work and what settings are required for doing two vertical passes. First pass will leave 1mm of material to remove on second pass.
