Hi Marianne,

Set up and test your PP’s with the following changes:

1.jpgImage Enlarger

Reversing the rotation of the parts performs a 180° rotation. This means that with the “Part Rotation” mode, if the left edge (back of a standard rectangular cabinet) of the part was initially positioned toward the machine’s origin, it will then be oriented in the opposite direction, with the right edge now facing the machine’s origin.

Test these changes and let me know how it goes.

Regards,

Isaac

Marianne,

If you send me your PP (as directed in the other post), I will have a look and further inform you from there.

Regards,

Isaac

Hi Marianne,

Yes, I believe that this should fix your problem.

Let me know if nothing changes and we can investigate further.

Regards,

Isaac

Hello again

We have moved our polyboard license from one computer to another. I just discovered that there must be something off in the settings in the PP we have made to get our parts to rotate 90 degrees in the Homag.

The main PP has its Orientations sett to “Horizontal max dimensions”. So I looked at the “PP Rotation” and find the orientation sett to “Parts Rotation”, which I believe should be the correct setting.

Is there something else we need to considerate?
