Hi Alex,

Thanks for the speedy reply. It appears the last option is the one I was already doing. I set up a material called “Dummy” and this is what I use. Is there a way to default doors and draw fronts to this material instead of going into each one and changing?

Regards

Dean

Hi,

First of all!

For drawers, it’s quite specific, you need to keep in mind that the drawer front is the reference for your drawer box!

-For the drawer don’t reduce your cabinet box you can set frontage in Outer mode from properties menu

– In some case, you can define the front as Nil, but I don’t recommend it.

The best solution is to define a non-exportable material, by creating false façades and unchecking the exportability from panel materials.

Morning folks,

First time forum user so please be gentle cool

I mainly create wardrobes and chests of drawers using Polyboard, and at the moment do not hardware on any of my models as I do this manually for the moment.

When I create a set of drawers, I start with a box that I have a saved template for. I then add applied draws which I have set up specifically to work with the tandem system, however this then deducts 20mm approx from my cab depth as the frontal is added which is annoying. I usually do not make the frontals as I add these later from another supplier so have no need to add them to my model. Is there any way I can add draws without automatically adding the frontal? I still need the counter-frontage, just not the frontals. Picture attached.

Many thanks
