Hi Conor, that’s because your colleague has downloaded version 7. A newer version of the software opens/edits files created by an older version, but not the other way round. I’ll email you with some instructions.

Hi all, hope you are well.

We have version 6.07c of polyboard which I have on my laptop at home.

Because we are in lock-down and can’t go to the office I asked one of our guys to download polyboard from your site to see if he could edit some of the files he as working on before Covid 19.

I emailed him some projects and he is able to open them and edit them however, when he sends them back to me I get an “Unexpected file format” warning when I try to open them.

Is this because the online software is newer and if so is there anything we can do?

Regards and thanks,
