If you want the oversizing (as you added in the project) then you need to set up as shown in the following image.
Note: This will give you the overall panel size even when you have angles etc. in your components.
I have done some more digging into why you are experiencing lag.
When you use a parallel desktop to emulate windows, your computers speed will stay limited.
I have come across the following article. I am not a mac user, and I don’t know much about the process or if this is helpful, but it may help or just be informative.

Offlinesorry im a bit confused about what you were asking at the end
I want it to add any over sized panels to optinest and then cut on Cnc – surely this should be a simple thing the software should do?
also can you look at that project and then edit single panels by moving the lines etc – when I open the edit single panel window it is really slow

I am looking at these files now, I don’t yet see anything. Two questions:
– Please send me your OptiNest parameters (in optinest go to Tools>save parameters).
– What PP are you using? Is it the “OptiNest-VCarve-EN-Hori”
