Hi Conor,

You don’t need a high-end computer to run PolyBoard. However, as you’ve noticed, it might experience slight lag with numerous 3D images or darker materials.

A new device with at least 8GB of RAM and a decent processor should be more than sufficient. Naturally, a more powerful computer will enhance performance.

Hi all,

I am finding as I get deeper into a drawing the transitions from 2d to 3d etc. very slow.

I keep 3d library structures to a minimum to keep the size of the drawing down but still very slow.

I was thinking of getting a new laptop and wondered what you recommend from a performance point of view.

Should I be looking at memory, graphics card size, processor.
