I apologise for the delayed response to this.
To create the cut out and box, I would:
- Add a nil shelf at the height of your cutout
- Add an inner-casing between the left and back panel (this will be your box)
- Add a shelf at 0mm from the top of this box, and set it to have overpassing priority over the front and right panel
- Use the inner tooling feature to cut out your side, back, and bottom panels to match the box
For your end panels, the only way to have fittings between parallel panels is with the single panel fittings. This needs to be manually added to each panel at this time. In the future, this will become easier.

I’m well thanks bud, hope you’re doing well too!
I’ve made a couple of tweaks and that’s the shape I was aiming for, find attached the project file.
If you don’t mind, could you perhaps overlay some design ideas onto the cabinets? They’re intended for a young teenage boys bedroom, so it would be useful to see any thoughts you have from a styling perspective.
With regard to the construction, what do you think of the end panels I’ve added to the tower? My thinking was that if we locate both the cabinet face and the end panel faces with Lamellos using the locator pins, we could simply clip them into place with a bit of CT1 and call it job done. Having said that, I have no idea how we would put those fittings on the faces?

Before I show you a solution, is the bottom area of the cabinet going to be open storage, or are you adding shelves or drawers to it?

Hi Isaac,
I’m trying to notch a small part of a tall cabinet, find attached the file.
