Hi Connor,
When you have done a thickness split and applied 2 different materials to it, you can save this as a structure in the structure library and apply it at all times when you needed on another element. You can also automate the process by creating an extra shelve and applying the structure via the materials style submethod in the tab structure.
using the copy-and-paste function also ad structures to panels. So there are different ways to do it faster

Good morning all,
I am making a cabinet with 44mm sections made up of a sandwich of 19mm oak plus 6mm mdf in the center and 19mm oak bonded together.
I have created a fake 44mm oak in libraries, drawn the cabinet and I am now using thickness split to change every shelf and upright individually.
Is there a better/faster way to achieve this.
Is it possible to create a multilayer material in libraries or do something in methods.
Regards and thanks,
Conor
