Hi,
I have moved your message to the correct section so that it can be dealt with more quickly instead of going to the sorting area which can delay the response by another 2 days
Polyboard cannot change the sub-methods of the drawers.
The best solution at the moment is to allocate one “fitting” per slider length.
All the best, Alex

Hi,
The data range is a parametric system for positioning hardware link
I have worked on the document but it is still in French and not yet translated
In the cabinet attached you can see how it work with old Hettich setup
You can change Cabinet in:
>Depth to see runner fitting change
>Height to see Front fitting change
>Width to see link between front and drawers bottom change
But data Range can’t change drawers in height or depth
Following your Cabinet Cl_Base
Between Frontage (OverPassing – P ) and drawers bottom (Underpassing – N)
If like attached screen shoot
You used data range rule Link (Upon the rule) The rule Following ( Underpassing -N) part and here N part is Drawer bottom
And at line Beyonde value of 700 mm you select fittings
when drawers bottom have height beyond 700, PolyBoard adding fitting
Hope my explain Helpful, All the best Alex

Thanks Alex
as noted with previous message
“Can we get some advise on setting up of data range’s, in this example for drawers over 700mm we would like the Fitting (caravan connector) to come into play. I have tried setting up a data range for this rule but couldn’t get it to work so I ended up setting up a Begin/End ‘Rule’ (Bottom/Connector) with -20 outside parameters at 700mm distance which works but gives us an incorrect Fitting number when ordering per job.”

We are trying to use the Tool Identifiers for specific grooving operations but have tried to set them up with little success.
I have attached some files for reference to an operation we are trying to achieve with our drawer bottoms.
What we are trying to achieve – When a drawer width gets over 700mm we use a Hafele Caravan Carcase Connector to enable fixing of the drawer bottom to Drawer Front to give the bottom some support.
As we don’t have a drill bit the correct size for rebate into bottom so we are trying to get our 10mm End Mill bit to cut out a correct size circle.
I have created Milling 10mm Tool Identifier and allocated this to the Fitting Tooling also setup Customized tools in our BiesseWorks CIX Post-Processor.
But when we process the job the Biesse processor comes up with error on this item and has no tooling allocated.
Is there something we should be doing or setup differently for this to work. As there would other operations we would like to add.
Also can we get some advise on setting up of data range’s, in this example for drawers over 700mm we would like the Fitting (caravan connector) to come into play. I have tried setting up a data range for this rule but couldn’t get it to work so I ended up setting up a Begin/End ‘Rule’ (Bottom/Connector) with -20 outside parameters at 700mm distance which works but gives us an incorrect Fitting number when ordering per job.

Dave
