This is possible, although the process will come down to your CAM software and how it needs to be managed.
For PolyBoard, Face coding can be assigned to your machining layers in your PostProcessor, which will also be handled in the OptiNest software.
For the correct coding layers, you will need to confirm the requirements of your CAM software, and input these into PolyBoard.

I’d like to confirm if it’s possible to handle two-sided machining (holes and grooves on both faces) when working in a nesting workflow with Polyboard and OptiNest — not part-by-part machining.
For example, can we:
- Drill and groove the first face,
- Then flip the full sheet and drill and cut the second face,
while keeping the parts positioned correctly through the nesting output?
I’d appreciate any guidance or workflow suggestions for managing this within Polyboard and OptiNest.
