Hi Oscar,

For the first message, it’s a protection for the internal case. Do not exceed “BK2”, but you can put a 200.99mm.

For the second, it is more delica but, currant in the piece of cabinet in free shape, the points of the box are not perfect so the pieces are not recognized perpendicular and do not place edges.

Please see video attached

Cheers, Alex

Hi again again Alex.

I exported the cabinet now (didn’t fix the 1mm recess of the inner casing – but I can live with it), but I noticed that I can’t see the edgebands on the top or the fixed shelves. Not in my ascii export, labels or anything, but they are present in my project. I’ve instructed the production team to put them on regardless naturally, but I can’t figure out why it wouldn’t catch it on the labels – though I understand that all the boards have more than 4 sides now, so that’s the reason, but what is the solution?

Hi Alex. I noticed that when you put the inner casings new back in around the 2 minute mark, you don’t put it exactly flush with the bk2. I thought it was just a mistake, but when I try to do it my self, it litterally wont let me put it flush. Any idea why?

Hi,

I start to look but not so easy this time wink,

Inboxing can’t be done with full overlaps

But may be more easy with free shape cabinet and inner casing on Top?

Please find video attached

Hope this video helpful, Alex

Update.

I have put the divided backs as nil panels, then added a new double back, which still only covers half of the cabinet, and the made a groove to the right to fill out the empty space.

Still playing around with it.

Hi there,

I’ve been looking through some of the other forum posts regarding unboxing and inner casings. I need to make a cabinet with a pipe box running vertically in the back corner throughout the height of the cabinet (That’s easy), but then at the box turns at an angle first and then horizontally. Which means that I need two onboxings in total, and preferably have the left side staying untouched. My unboxing also makes the back weird in the top, with the mid piece dividing the what could have been one back in two. Ideally I would have liked the top shelf to act as the top of the lower part of the cabinet as well – But I can live without that.

I have tried building it by cutting boards individually, and changed the parts underpasser or overpassing settings, but I keep running into dead ends. I can live with this design in the end and just put a loose double back in to cover the divided one, but I feel like I just need the necessary skills to make it work like I want to. 🙂

Hope it makes somewhat sense, it’s a bit hard to explain these things. I don’t have a picture of the actual pipe box, but I have attached my drawing of it, and my design.

Best regards

Oscar

Ps. Also I made the left side “whole” again my overpassing it towards the back (which I’m gonna cut flush to the wall anyway), but I can’t get it all the way to the back. It wont let me do the last 1 mm.
