Hi Gavin,
When you set up reg.drilling be sure to set up the “rule” that says where to put them:
With no rule nothing will happen!
If you download the Quick Design libraries there are a set of placement rules you can use.
To contact MTM call Gareth or Tom Ellis at 01938556823 .
To get help setting up CNC you can also contact Rick Suckley at rick748@gmail.com. Rick set up the machine and software for MTM.
All the best,
Ness

Hi Ness
thanks i will speak with 2020 to see if they can help
I will look at the video and see if it helps me but when I try to do regular drilling nothing seems to happen for me so I’m sure I’m doing something very basic wrong if I need any further help I will get back to you.
the offer of putting me in touch with MTM is very kind of , basically what I’m looking for is the batch post processors etc and the regular drilling they use

Hi Gavin,
What are the problems you are having with this?
Exporting a 3D project does seem to give some problems with certain software. This is mainly due to the way the software reads the 3D file. Standard software like Sketchup and Autocad usually reads the standard Polyboard DXF fine but I don’t know about 2020.
You might have to contact them to see how to set up their DXF import to suit Polyboard.
What are your issues for using Aspire with Polyboard? .
If you need help setting it up I could ask MTM to contact you.
Cheers,
Ness

Hi Ness
wonder if you can help and point me in the right direction and also help with cnc setup
when trying to set up regular drillling it never works for me , maybe a video on this would help or if there is one or a video containing how to please give me the link,
also I bought polyboard basicaly to help out the workshop and redud¡ce the problems with errors in cut lists ,the issues I have are the renders are very basic but we use profesional kitchen design software to help with that but when i export a dxf project it doesn`t import to the sotware we use (2020 fusionFX) but it does import single cabinets just seems to merge together when in project mode the only other way I can get it to import project mode is firstly export to sketchup then import a sketchup file, If i get time this week i will try and upload a video if you could please advise on what to use (what you use to capture videos in your demos) and the other reason for buying polyboard was the video you produced with MTM and their setup , we use Aspire software which is the version up from V carve so any pointers you could give with setting up the export etc would be great . best regards Gavin1 Guest(s)
