Hi Rosaire,
I have always liked to work (or try to work) with a high level of accuracy in my dimensions.
You are able to edit this if you do not want your dimensions to 2 decimal places.
On the top of your screen, go to Tools>Units>Precision, here you can edit the number of decimal places that you use.

Thanks Isaac. Good suggestion.
I’m building a u shape stairs with angled steps. The cutting list gives the angles to two decimals. Does this level of precision necessary?

Hi Rosaire,
What is commonly used is a non-permanent glue to attach the template to the lumber and then use it to cut along the lines. So, there is no need to cut the templates with scissors.

I have the 1:1 templates for the cut stringers of my stairs. How do you recommend transferring onto the lumber piece? I’ve been thinking of using scissors to cut the template along the lines and then lay itonto the lumber. Any better suggestions?
