Hey Ness I try now and print on a borrowed writing, but getting error in draft sight when I try a print !! Do you have any advice ??

Hi Reodor,
The dimension of 1290 is from the end of the stringer to the inner side of the second flights right hand stringer.
The stringers are drawn and unfolded on the inner face.
1320 is the distance from the wall to the back of the post which is also the back edge of the landing step.
The landing step is 70mm wide and the right hand stringer over laps the last step nosing 80mm so has a 10mm over lap on the landing step.
StairDesigner draws the landing steps on the plan view at 100mm which can lead to some confusion.
But otherwise I think your stair is perfectly setup to the dimensions you have asked for.
To print full size from Draftsight use the print function and just set the scale to 1:1.

this is wrong ?? my measure say this is 132cm
this is not easy for one who can not data prog.
I want to work with wood not computer programming
pleas help me and get started with the project.
Checking in with some company here
I must pay 313,73 pund for a drawing I do not know if I can use!!
Then not all the details on the stairs only stair stringers.
Thank you again, can you describe how to print directly from the program in full size?

Hi again,
If you don’t have a big printer, you can use dimensioned plans to mark up the stringers.
The DXF parts folder contains de DXF drawing of all the parts of your stair.
To get the dimensions, open the DXF parts in Draftsight and use the dimensioning tools to add the dimensions as necessary.
Here’s an example of your stringer with the step nosings dimensioned from the outside of the board.

Sorry but do not understand what you mean !
or load into Draftsight and add dimensions??
I have a problem, there is none that can print the drawing to me, I must then draw up everything manually. What should I do then ???

Hi Reodor,
1340 is up to the end of the string board.
The string over laps the last step 20mm so 1340-20=1320mm
The 20mm over lap is because the last step is set to 60mm and the string goes past the last step 80m (80-60).
To mark out the stringers, you can print the DXf full size and glue to the stringers, or load into Draftsight and add dimensions.

Hello Reodor,
I’ve adjusted the last flight to 1320mm and moved the last post.
I’ve also made the landing step slightly smaller so that the last step nosing is not flush with the post edge.
The step sizes can be read from the workshop documents.
The workshop document also has a cutting list of all the parts that totals the volumes.
