Hi Daniel,

The bolts have a wood thread screwed into the stringer or handrail and a nut and washer on the post.

I can't see your sds file, did you forget to upload it?

All the best,

Ness

 Hi Ness,

Another stair file lite request. I've had to make mods but it's pretty much the same. I saw your video on dowel and bolting carriages/ stingers but was wondering on what you used to attach the bolt to one side?

I know it that the lite file request is once per month but is that per calendar month or  one month from the last request.

Many thanks

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Here are your working documents.

Your design is a bit original but should work fine.

Note that as you have cut strings, StairDesigner doesn't draw the joint lines with the posts, so you'll have to add these to the dxf files or directly onto the boards once marked up.

good luck with the building and keep me updated as to how it goes.

All the best,

Ness

Hi Ness,

I've made a few tweaks on your suggestions and think this would work best for me. Could I request a stair file lite please. I'm not sure if a pro would be best at this point but i'll give it a go and see

Thanks

Daniel
