Hi Michel,

I have the file now, its perfect, thanks you.

Just for future reference, How did you get to that….I tried going multi flight but when I added a flight off the landing at say 20mm to make it a nosing, it wanted to make it with two risers, and I couldnt delete one of them.

Kind Regards,

Michael Gazzola

Hi Michael,

If you add a flight it will automatically create it with at least 2 steps. This is a requirement in flights. I just added a landing. SD will then add a single step which you have defined according to the settings you enter.

Hi Michael,

I have send you an email from my gdrive. There you can download the installer for SD7.12 as it is not yet on the website.

Let me know when you have done it.

Hi Michel,

So sorry to be a pain, I’m still using 7.10 and it wont open your file.

Could you direct me to the download area so I can upgrade?

Not sure about why there are 50mm risers to be honest, I will just change those in the parameters later..

Thanks

Mike

Hi Michel,

Unfortunately the forum is not allowing me to upload either a pdf or a jpeg of my sketch.

Essentially if you look at the library version of a stair with a quarter landing at the top, I need to do that, but with a riser turning right as you exit the landing at the top, at right angles to the stringer. This really is the conventional way of doing a stair like that, or at least it is here….,obviously I get that it may be different over there. It means you need one less tread on the lower flight.

Im sure this is really simple but I cant seem to make it work, I tried building it flight by flight, and adding a 20mm flight at right angles to the landing, but that seems to add an extra step in so i get 2 risers. Not sure where I am going wrong.

Hi,

How would I best go about changing the standard quarter landing stair to have a riser at the top at right angles to the flight, thus meaning I need one less tread on the flight?
