No problem, Chris, let me know when you've purchased another StairFile Lite and I'll sort that out for you. Do you want the other one re-done in imperial (free of charge)? Cheers, Stefan

Hi Chris,
It depends on whether you need our StairFile Lite or Pro service (the latter with the full size templates). See here for differences between the 2:
https://wooddesigner.org/stair.....e-service/
If you need a 2nd Lite service, please buy it here:
https://wooddesigner.org/membe.....discounts/
You can also buy the Pro service from that page.
For the 80-glen-echo design, let me know Lite or Pro so we can get that done asap.
All the best, Stefan

hi guys here is another winder-box i need the drawings for. I also need drawings for another set this week (2 differnt houses 78 & 80 glen echo) which service should i get to receive more then one job per month
my last winder-box turned out perfect other then slightly out of code in Ontario Canada, not allowed 4 turning treads in a winder-box. Fortunately I haven't had any inspectors say anything, personally i think 4 treads are safer then 3 treads in a winder-box.
As for me I have just opened a real shop (not my garage anymore) I have partnered with a fella to share a shop and tools. So now im in full production of stairs

Hi Chris,
Full size PDF templates are available if you buy a StairFile Pro service.
Otherwise you can load the DXF files into CAD and print from CAD.
Try Draftsight our free CAD program you can download from the Wood Designer Resources here:
https://wooddesigner.org/membe.....raftsight/
All the best,
Ness

Hi Chris,
Well done for this first design.
I gave it a quick overview and found it a really nice and clean design.
Here are you manufacturing files.
Hope the build goes well, keep us updated and don't hesitate to ask if you need help.
All the best,
Ness

Hi Chris,
Can't see you file attached to the post, have you uploaded it?
Can sometimes be quicker, but count 24 to 48 hours for us to process you StairFile Lite.
cheers,
Ness

Hi guys, I have been learning a little bit about the program and I love it!! I have attached a file so i can get the documents via stairfile lite. It is a real project but I wanted to see what the documents will look like before i buy the stairfile pro which i will probably need.
Question: how long to process the drawings
Thanks so much for a great service

Hi Chris,
Nice to see you on the forum.
If the software is running just continue using it.
If it prompts for an activation code, click the "demo mode button".µ
In all cases you don't need to activate it .
All the best,
Ness

Hi Chris
Thanks very much for your message and welcome to the community.
Full membership allows you to continue to use the free member version of the software you've already downloaded.
The only limitation with this version is that you will not be able to print the plans and cutting lists, and otherwise export your manufacturing documents.
However, as a Full member, you can use our CabinetFile Lite and StairFile Lite services free of charge (1 project/month) to get the documentation you need.
You can find more details on these and related services here:
https://wooddesigner.org/cabin.....e-service/
https://wooddesigner.org/stair.....e-service/
If you later decide you'd like to have the print and export functionality integrated into the software, the alternative is to buy the software (discounted to Full members) but there's no obligation to go down this route if you don't want to.
For more information, please click here: https://wooddesigner.org/softw.....ices-faqs/
I hope this is helpful. Don't hesitate to contact us via the forum if you have any further questions.
All the best,
Stefan

Hi everyone, I have been looking forward to using this software for some time. And I expect I'll be using the forum as much as possible as well. That is, if I can get this thing running. So I'm having trouble with activation from demo mode, once i have the program up and running i go to the help menu, click active and a dialog box pops up and tells me i need administration rights to active. So then I tried it by right clicking on the icon (before program is running) and "run as administrator" and i get a dialog box prompting me for an activation code, which i don't have. what do i do
