Hi Alex,

The only way to add the joint is by removing the landing step.

You can remove the landing step, add the joint, and then edit step 14 to align with your plan. Check the attached image—try manually adjusting the shape of stair 14 to see if it achieves your goal.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best,

Isaac

Going back to this. My step 14 is the landing step which is deleted. Are you suggesting that step 13 can be lifted up to be level with the landing?

Thanks

Hello,

This is expected—you will always see something there. While this step doesn’t offer as much design flexibility as manually adding a landing step, it does allow you to incorporate the joint into your stringboard. I recommend experimenting with this step to see if you can adjust it to meet your requirements.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best regards,
Isaac

Hi Isaac,

I have deleted the landing step and added the curve required but when i want to modify the last step it shows up as the landing step still being there. See file attached.

Hi Isaac,

Thanks for this. How can i remove the landing step without drawing everything again?

Hi Team,

When a staircase is drawn with a landing step i can no longer add a join onto the right strinboard where it meets the landing. Please can you show me if this is possible. I have attached a jpeg of what i want to do and the Stairdesigner file.

Thanks
