Cutting Stringer|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Hi Brendan,
Sorry to say but in the actual version of StairDesigner 7 it’s not possible to combine the step and riser housings into on continuous pocket.
For the moment this will have to be done manually in CAD. Adjusting this in CAD is very quick and not a very complicated.
This function was available in StairDesigner 6 and I think that the developers are working on a Pro PP version that will have extended dxf options that should include merging of step and riser housings.
We should have this version available in the first half of 2018.
All the best,
Ness
We have created stairs and can cut the stringers on the cnc router. how do we convert the mutable tread and risers to a single pocket. We have used artcam4 and this removed the line but doesn’t join treads and risers together. And then fails in test mode of the CNC. Is there a command in the stair designer that allows to convert the treads and risers to a single stringer? Or where can I do this function?
