Hi,

>You can use the VCarve “DXF batch processor” tool explained in the video in the previous link.

>You can download SD Quick Design libraries from Software download page Go to My Account > Downloads > Go to your downloads page

>You are able to move the newel post by adding it on line and not on point ( square ), and adjust dimension, after the depending if you want to edit step shape or Stair shape

Hello, where I can find the link and download SD QuickDesign? DX EN makes files for each part how I can upload as a groups? stringers, steps, risers etc? V carve open the individual part as separate job. also how I can move the newel post  back by the distance required? and how to select the firs step will be round as in a picture. Hi,

According to your Vcarve screenshot, you are trying to import a 2D DXF plan,

DXF-Plan-vs-DXF-export.pngImage Enlarger

But for VCarve, you need to use the DXF part-by-part export,

If you install our SD QuickDesign, you can use DXF-EN PostPro.

Hi, I’m trying to export dxf plan but just stringers appears  as a separate parts, the threads and risers is all together. I can move threads but risers view is from the top only what I’m doing wrong? I cant found the right video to sort this. Thanks in advance Screenshot-2024-10-11-164759.pngImage Enlarger
