At the moment, this isn’t possible directly within StairDesigner.
My recommendation would be to incorporate this into the height of your string board. You could then cut and manufacture it separately using your CAM software.
I understand this isn’t the most ideal workflow, but I believe it’s the best available solution when working with StairDesigner.
I’ll continue to think about alternative approaches, and if I come up with a better solution within the software, I’ll let you know.

Would someone be able to advise on how to add a base rail on the top of a (straight) stringer)
My current project has 32mm stringers, with 41mm banisters. These banisters should connect to a base rail, which sits on top of the stringer.
