Hi Daniel,

You are right that our SketchUP download page is a bit ambiguous about what files you can load into the free version of SketchUp.

I've edited the text to be more explicit.

See you after Christmas,

Best regards,

Ness

Hi Daniel,

You need the Pro version of SketchUp to import DXF.

If you post your StairDesigner file or the 3D DXF files on the Premium Support forum we can send you a SketchUp file.

However, be aware that there might be some delay due to the Christmas holiday period.

Have a great Christmas.

Best regards,

Ness

Thank you Ness!

We'll most likely get in touch after the Christmas holiday period.

I guess you will also edit the description from the website regarding Sketchup, which actually created too much hopes regarding the free version... wink

Merry Christmas!

Best regards,

Daniel

The new versions of SketchUp doesn't seem to allow the import of .dxf files (perhaps possible only in Pro version). Is there another way to import them into the free version? I'm considering to import files generated by Stair Designer
