Problem installing Free Version of StairDesigner|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER
October 4, 2012
Hi Christopher,
I’m not an IT person and I know formatting the hard disk sounds a bit drastic but the developers Boole & Partners have set up a protection system that requires reformating if it has been cracked.
I don’t know how it works, but we have has this problem several times and it’s impossible to install a full activated version to a computer that has run a cracked version previously, without formatting.
cheers,
Ness
Wow, Ness! That seems a bit extreme!
Doing what you suggested will mean that any data files that exist on the hard drive, and particularly those that have not been backed up, will be forever lost.
In my opinion, I believe that the more appropriate response should have been that MS Windows needs to be reinstalled/refreshed. This will keep all other files on the system…
Sincerely,
Christopher (IT Techie)

Hello Nick,
Have you had a cracked version installed on your computer?
Installing certain cracked versions can give this error message and unfortunately you will have to reformat the hard disk to install uncracked versions.
All the best,
Ness
