Hi Michel,

I did check penetrations, they should be 13mm into strings and newel posts.

Please find finished file attached below.

Many Thanks,

Geoff.

Hi Geoff,

Did you check your penetrations?

steps are penetrating 30mm in a springboard of 32 mm ??  A general rule is 1/3 penetration so in your case 10mm is the value for the penetration.

can you have a final check on this and confirm?

regards

Michel

Hi Geoff,

You can shape the bullnose step in many ways. The issue is that the riser will not follow the step shape so you will have to add this on manually. Using the 2D DXF  of your stair on a cad program to add the riser and penetration point on the stringboard and eventual the newel. This requires some cad intervention but you could create a riser that is not penetrating these elements which will make it easier for you.

I shaped a bullnose on it. The best way to do it is to go to the step overview and shape the step directly in the editing mode ( double click on the step )

regards

Michel

Hi,

Is it possible to have the stair file and DXF files so I can manufacture this staircase please.

The Client has requested a bullnose step at the bottom, but I am not sure how to put it in correctly in the programme, so can you please have a look at this for me.

Many Thanks,

Geoff.
