Stairdesign 7 string penetration to knell post problems|Forum|WOOD DESIGNER

Hi Stuart.
The problem is the lateral recess you have entered. The stringboard is 32 mm and your recess is 18 mm. This means a total recess of 36 mm which exceed the width of the stringboard. So your tenon is cut off. Reduce the lateral recess and you will see the tenon appearing.

Dear team,
Please find the attached file of a straight forward flight of stairs. Strings to left and right with knell posts to the left string only. In the string-board link section i have chosen to penetrate my string-board into the upper and lower knell posts by 30mm however today the software will not allow this to happen. It does not show in the refreshed 3d model and when i export the stair file as a dxf the sting-board has not been drawn in a way that will allow the string to penetrate the knell. This happens in both the upper and lower knell instance. Am i doing something wrong?
Regards
Stuart
