Hi Hasse, the key features we are waiting for are central cut stringers, headroom control, curved step nosing and better management of metal stringers. We don’t have an exact schedule for that I’m afraid. All the best, Stefan

Hi Hasse

Stefan or Ness can answer this question better then me. So They will revert shortly to you.

What I can say is that sd7 is currently not so versatile as v6 but also has features and workings v6 does not have. In my opinion sd7 is allready better than v6. There are very regular updates and we give constant technical input to the programmers to fine tune the software and make it better every day.

regards

Michel

Hi Hasse

there is no current stepshaping in sd7 but it is the goal to get all v6 features added in sd7 and even improved.

about the penetration in newels you can. Just click  on links in the properties and choose steps/newel post link.

There you can enter parameters like penetration and several recess options .

This applies to all steps in the stair

in the top menu you can choose libraries where you can setup manufacturing methods and submethods. This allows you to predefine stairparameters according to the several building options you have.

There is currently no manual for sd7 but I suppose this will be created once the version becomes complete. If it  is not the case I am sure Ness will give his input on it ;-))

regards

Michel
